The Banking Executive magazine Sheds Lights on Faisal Islamic Bank

The Banking Executive magazine, published by the World Union of Arab Bankers, featured a comprehensive profile on Faisal Islamic Bank within its latest issue this month. The cover of the magazine, which is published in English, was titled "Faisal Islamic Bank.. A Prominent Bank in a Promising Economy", with pictures of the CEO of the bank, Mr. Moawia Ahmed Elamin.

The magazine issue remarkable coverage of the Bank included covering the bank's activities, achievements and contributions at all local and regional fronts, in addition to highlighting the CEO's biography. The magazine celebrated the bank’s launch of the MasterCard payment service, referring that the has also obtained a license to issue Visa cards, considering that this milestone reflects the bank’s new orientation towards openness to global financial organizations  in the wake of Sudan’s removal from the US list of countries sponsoring terrorism.

The magazine also highlighted the Bank's contributions and initiatives in the domain of social responsibility, and praised the vital role the Bank plays in promoting economic and social development in Sudan and its ever-lasting support for the relevant public programs and initiatives of civil society organizations.

The Banking Executive provided a historical background on the bank's establishment in 1970s tracing its development through different eras, considering Faisal Islamic Bank as one of the leading banks in the Islamic banking sector on a global level.
