Customers and non customers of Faisal Islamic Bank (Sudan) can now receive their cash transferred from Saudi Arabia in foreign currency at our pre-defined branches. This initiative, which marks a new stage of relationship between Sudan and Saudi Arabia in the industry of retail banking, was launched in cooperation with The National Commercial Bank in Saudi Arabia.
The service is aimed to provide an easy and a safe way to transfer the expats payments to their families and be received in foreign currency. The agreement between FIB and NCB includes remittance to Sudan via Quick Pay and the reception of the payments in customers’ accounts or at the counter with no remittance fees the Bank charges for a whole year. This is prompted by the Bank pursuit to facilitate money transfer for Sudanese expats. The Sudanese expats can make the remittance using Quick Pay service or ATMs or mobile banking or e-banking via the website of The National Commercial Bank of Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Moawia Ahmed Elamin, CEO of Faisal Islamic Bank stated that the Bank plans to broaden its partners base in this domain to cover a variety of countries where Sudanese expats live or work. Mr. Moawia added that FIB strives to develop a bunch of high-value products and services to extraordinarily meet expectations of the Bank’s customers.
